Pairva

Health Massage

A house of wood, warm light and unhurried hands — where Thai medicine meets quiet, contemporary care.

Sawasdee

A pairing of body and breath

Pairva is a Thai health-massage sanctuary in Oslo. We practise Nuad Thai as it has been taught for centuries — along the sen energy lines, with rhythmic pressure, assisted stretches and herbal heat — in rooms of oak, linen and still air.

Whether you arrive with a stubborn shoulder, a long week, or a wish to simply lie still, every session is shaped around you. Professional care. Natural healing. Total relaxation.

How we work

Relax. Restore. Rebalance.

Professional care

Licensed Thai therapists with years of hospital and spa training. Clear intake, honest pressure, and treatments that never rush the clock.

Natural healing

Warm herbal compresses, plant oils, and the old maps of the sen lines. No theatre — just the medicine of touch, heat and breath.

Total relaxation

Cove lighting, honey-oak walls, linen, tea. A room designed so the nervous system can finally stand down.

The house

Built for stillness

Two treatment tables rest on pale oak. Vertical slats catch the light. Plants, stone and a single lotus. From the street you see the gold on the glass — inside, the city falls away.

A visit

How the hour unfolds

  1. 01

    Arrive

Come fifteen minutes early. Leave the street at the door. We greet you with tea and a quiet intake.

  2. 02

    Consult

Tell us where it hurts, how you sleep, what you need today. Your therapist sets pressure, pace and focus.

  3. 03

    Treatment

Stretch, compress, oil or herbal heat — always on the sen lines, always at a tempo the body can follow.

  4. 04

    Tea

Sit. Drink homemade herbal tea. Let the work settle before you walk back into Oslo.

From our guests

What people say

The first Thai massage in Oslo that felt like medicine, not a spa product. Nalina found the shoulder I had stopped mentioning.

Ingrid H. · Frogner

I book the ritual every fourth Friday. The room does half the work. The tea at the end is not a flourish — it is part of the treatment.

Jonas M. · Majorstuen

Two tables, no talking required, gold light on oak. We have given this as a gift twice. Both times people wrote back.

Sofie & Lars · Couples ritual

I grew up with this work. Pairva is the first room in Norway where the stretch felt like home — and the wood does not pretend to be a temple.

Pim T. · Bangkok / Oslo
